What the math does
Crew Hours = Quantity ÷ Production Rate per Crew Hour × Difficulty. Worker Hours = Crew Hours × Crew Size. Target-Margin Floor = Direct Cost ÷ (1 − Overhead − Target Margin).
Use quantity, production rate per crew hour, difficulty, crew size, burdened labor, supplies, equipment, trip cost, ratebook price, minimums, overhead, and target margin. The calculator compares the ratebook reference with the economic floor so a familiar unit price cannot silently override job economics.
Recommended Price is the greater of a valid ratebook reference and the price needed to protect the direct-cost, overhead, minimum, and target-margin inputs.
Crew Hours = Quantity ÷ Production Rate per Crew Hour × Difficulty. Worker Hours = Crew Hours × Crew Size. Target-Margin Floor = Direct Cost ÷ (1 − Overhead − Target Margin).
The calculator does not save a Service Library, jobs, quote history, actual costs, billing, A/R, dashboard, or monthly history.
Overhead + Target Margin must stay below 100%. At 90% or more but below 100%, the tool calculates and flags EXTREME ECONOMIC TARGET — REVIEW INPUTS.
The paid system stores the industry-specific records and operating history that the free scenario does not.
