Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your purchase and use of digital products sold under the OwnerLanes brand. By purchasing, downloading or using an OwnerLanes product, you agree to these terms.

1. Products and delivery

OwnerLanes sells premade digital business tools, which may include Microsoft Excel workbooks, setup guides, templates and supporting files. The applicable product page and order receipt identify the files included in your purchase. Unless a product page clearly says otherwise, purchases are one-time payments and do not include consulting, bookkeeping, customization or ongoing managed service.

Digital files are delivered electronically after successful payment. You are responsible for providing an accurate email address and for downloading and securely backing up the files you receive.

2. Software and system requirements

Each product page describes its required software. OwnerLanes Excel products are designed for a compatible desktop version of Microsoft Excel unless that page states otherwise. Compatibility with Google Sheets, Apple Numbers, mobile spreadsheet apps or older software is not promised. You are responsible for confirming the requirements before purchase.

3. License and permitted use

Your purchase gives you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the product internally for one business and its own jobs or clients. You may make reasonable backup and working copies for that business.

You may not:

• resell, sublicense, redistribute or publicly share the files;
• upload the files to a template marketplace or shared library;
• remove OwnerLanes copyright or branding notices;
• use the product to create a competing template or digital product for sale; or
• give access to another business without a separate license.

4. Payments, taxes and checkout

Checkout and payment processing are provided by Lemon Squeezy, which acts as merchant of record for purchases made through its checkout. Prices are shown in U.S. dollars unless the checkout states otherwise. Applicable taxes, currency conversion and payment terms are shown at checkout.

5. Refunds

Refund eligibility is governed by our Refund Policy, together with any mandatory rights that apply where you live.

6. Decision-support tools, not professional advice

OwnerLanes products are practical decision-support tools. They do not provide legal, tax, accounting, financial, engineering, environmental, equipment-safety or other professional advice. You remain responsible for verifying inputs, formulas, prices, taxes, estimates, invoices, safety requirements and business decisions.

7. Results and product changes

We do not guarantee revenue, profit, savings, client acceptance or any other business result. Screenshots and examples are illustrations, and results depend on the information you enter and how you use the product. We may correct errors or improve future versions without promising free lifetime updates unless the product page expressly includes them.

8. Intellectual property

OwnerLanes and its licensors retain all ownership rights in the products, designs, formulas, documentation, branding and website content. Your purchase is a license to use the product, not a sale of its intellectual property.

9. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, products are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties beyond those that cannot legally be excluded. OwnerLanes is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, lost profits, lost data, business interruption or decisions made using the products. To the fullest extent permitted by law, total liability related to a product will not exceed the amount you paid for that product.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms when our products or legal obligations change. The effective date above shows the latest revision. Changes apply prospectively and do not remove rights that cannot legally be waived.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Costa Rica, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer law provides otherwise.
