When coverage-based material logic is used, convert the measured quantity into effective paintable square feet with Paintable Sq Ft per Measured Unit before calculating material units. Crew Size affects estimated site duration, not production-derived worker-hour requirement.
Sales tax is outside the operating-profit calculation. Production and manual application hours are mutually exclusive on each line; prep remains independent of coats.
Production Rate mode: Application Worker Hours = Measured Quantity × Coats ÷ Production Rate × Difficulty. Manual mode uses Manual Application Worker Hours instead. Prep = quantity × prep hours per unit unless a manual prep override exists. Material units = quantity × paintable sq ft per unit × coats × (1 + waste) ÷ coverage.
